Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026 · miningsignals.com

MSHA Lead Intelligence is an independent service that organizes public U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration data into mining and quarry sales-intelligence signals. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website and application.

Who operates the service

MSHA Lead Intelligence is an independently operated online service. For privacy questions and requests, contact steyn.enslin@gmail.com.

Information we collect

How we use information

We process information to create and secure accounts, deliver subscribed or requested features, support customers, improve accuracy and reliability, understand product usage, detect abuse, and comply with legal requirements. Some processing is necessary to provide the service; other processing depends on applicable law and user choices.

Cookies and authentication

Essential, host-specific cookies keep users signed in and protect sessions. If you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates you and returns a sign-in result to our application. We do not receive your Google password. Optional analytics services may also use cookies or similar identifiers where enabled.

Service providers

We use infrastructure and specialist providers to operate the service. These may include Render (application hosting), Neon or related database hosting (data storage), Google (optional authentication), and—if enabled—PostHog (analytics), Sentry (diagnostics), or a third-party billing processor. Each provider handles information under its own terms and applicable privacy safeguards.

Public MSHA information

Mine, operator, inspection, citation and penalty records displayed in the platform are based on publicly available government source data, distinct from personal account data. Proprietary rankings and lead indicators are our own derived analyses, not official government assessments.

Retention, transfers, and security

Information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We apply reasonable technical and organizational protections, including access controls and secure connections. We retain data for legitimate service, security, record-keeping and legal needs, and remove or anonymize it when those needs no longer apply where practical and legally required.

Your choices and requests

You can choose Google sign-in or email/password where offered, update available profile settings, and request access, correction or deletion of personal account information. Contact steyn.enslin@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond according to applicable law, subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practices or services change. The latest version will be posted here with its effective date. For questions or concerns, email steyn.enslin@gmail.com.
